Cricket enthusiasts, brace yourselves for an action-packed summer in 2025 as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) just unveiled a thrilling schedule. The summer lineup is headlined by simultaneous series for the men’s and women’s teams, promising an electrifying atmosphere. Fans will witness England face off against cricketing giant India in a series that promises to be nothing short of blockbuster entertainment.

Starting with the men’s five-match Test series, England will lock horns with India from June 20 to August 4. Leeds takes the honor of hosting the inaugural Test on June 20. The excitement will shift to Birmingham for the second Test from July 2, followed by the iconic Lord’s stadium welcoming the third Test beginning on July 10. The fourth and fifth Tests will find their stages at Manchester and The Oval, respectively, ensuring a wide geographic spread of cricketing drama.

Concurrently, the England women’s team will be up against their Indian counterparts in a series comprising three T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The women’s series kicks off on June 28 with a T20I at Nottingham. The T20I matches continue in Bristol on July 1, The Oval on July 4, Manchester on July 9, and conclude in Birmingham on July 12. Following these quick-paced encounters, the ODI series will commence, extending from July 16 to July 22, with games slated at Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street.

Before the much-anticipated India series, the England teams will first engage with the West Indies in both men’s and women’s fixtures. Each team will partake in three ODIs and three T20Is. These matches provide a crucial buildup for the main summer events, affording players the opportunity to fine-tune their skills and strategies.

The cricketing festivities begin early with Zimbabwe’s return for their first Test series in England since 2003. The four-day Test match is set to be played at Trent Bridge, starting May 22. This historic encounter will set the tone for the season ahead.

In what promises to be an exhilarating conclusion to the summer, the English men’s team will face South Africa in three ODIs and three T20Is, scheduled from September 2 to September 14. Not confined to home turf alone, England will additionally visit Ireland in the same month for a three-match ODI series on September 17, 19, and 21.
